KEY POINTS

  • Finding clarity and balance around one's goals for the future begins with identifying the factors that make your life personally meaningful. Finding your why.

  • Making a major change in your life can lead others to project their fears and doubts onto you, potentially damaging your confidence.

  • In 2021, 2.9 percent of the U.S. workforce quit their jobs, changing companies or careers, or taking less money for more flexibility.

We are moving into a new era and generation of reawakening. Many of us are questioning our paths and figuring out what it is that makes us happy. But, not only that, what are the steps that will get us there. This may seem easy but the journey getting there is anything but.

There are many questions you need to be asking yourself throughout the time your soul is here in the body that you are in. And it is important to not got lost in the materialistic or vanity of the world.

Because if you do then you will never live completely. Help yourself by honing in deeply on the person you want to be and the actions and personality you need to have to get there.

Let's go over three important questions you need to start asking yourself to start recalibrating the life you want for yourself. Remember that this is a journey and it's not meant to happen all in one day.

Be grateful and kind to yourself in the process and you will start to see changes sooner rather than later.

Question 1: What are the plans and goals for my life?

Be cautious and aware that by answering this question you will run into the fear of doubt and resistance.

This is normal.

We need to retrain our brains not to be so comfortable with negative thinking once we start imaging the life we truly want. This is actually your soul's desire.

Why are we conditioned to not allowing ourselves to give the things we want in this life that we want?

We are easily condition to stop ourselves from the love we deserve, the job that we want, the money that we desire, the stability we crave.

We do this to ourselves but not without the help of the social conditioning of suppressing our true inner self.

Remember, we need to learn how to separate what the ego wants v.s. what the soul wants.

The ego is all about materialistic things and vanity. While your soul is more about the inner work - which is the most vital and important part to getting your fulfillments.

Take this time to tell yourself that you will change your words and thoughts in the exercise. Stop yourself when you catch yourself neglecting the things it is you want in life.

For example, when you think about how much money you would like to make in a month or in a year refrain from telling yourself that will never happen, or that that amount is out of reach.

Instead, allow yourself to accept the fact that others have done it and so why can't you.

No one in the world came more prefect than anyone else. No one in this world is more superior than anyone else.

So, then, how comes you deny yourself the life you want?

Take inventory of your life now, and where you see yourself in the next three-five-ten years. You will actually have to write these things down.

Grab a pen and paper and write down a list of task you would like to accomplish do not worry about time frame here it was just written above to help you gage goals that you want to accomplish sooner in the present.

Once you have take the time to write them down take the time to visualize these things. Allow yourself to be creative, and let you imagination run.

You do not need to worry or focus on how you are going to achieve your plans or goals. Overthinking may be the reason why you have not accomplish those things are your list.

Many of us have a fear of not having enough time. Catch yourself throughout the day when you say this phrase,

" I don't have time," "I am just so busy," or " I wish I had more time".

You need to change this mind frame to allow your plans and goals to move into your life.

When you catch yourself saying this ... STOP, and say this instead, "I have all the time in the world," "I am time," "I am flowing with life's time".

If you are done writing your life's goals and plan and looking to step it up a notch then I highly recommend making a vision or a dream board.

This will help you focus and put your vision that is in your mind into this reality.

Anything that was a reality today was first in the mind. This is the time to bring it outside of your mind and either write it down or present it to the world in visual form.

Question 2: How am I supporting myself?

Throughout this time you will need to figure out how you will be supporting yourself mentally, financially, spiritually, and emotionally.

If you do not work on this part and allow yourself to get stuck in the distractions of the world then you will unfortunately never be able to achieve your life's plans and goals.

To recalibrate your life you will not only need to look within your inner self but your outer circle and those who you are surrounded by.

It is important that throughout the time of your recalibration you give yourself the alone time you need and deserve.

This does not mean to go into complete isolations, however, there will be some points in time where this will benefit you the most as you will be preventing yourself from unnecessary distractions and spreading yourself out to the needs of others.

I understand that there will be times where your duty as a parent, sibling, caregiver, or spouse will need come in first. However, understanding the balance and

Life itself may pull you all in different directions but it is up to you to take charge of your life's direction. Alleviate the distractions and remove anything and anyone who is hindering you from your peace.

This is another vital and pivotal moment that needs to happen for the recalibration to occur.

Removing or distancing yourself from those that are not serving your higher good or purpose will only prolong your own personal journey.

Stop allowing yourself to surrender your power to others when those others are gifting you the life you deserve- since that is up to you.

Ways to support yourself

  • Taking time find peace in healing your traumas whether that is with therapy, meditation, or speaking with those who are caring towards your greater good

  • Speak more kindly to yourself and be patience with yourself

  • Surround yourself with people who are in line with their higher purpose and goals

  • Release people when there actions are not inline with their words

  • Learn how to control your emotions and become proactive when it comes to handling your affairs

  • Allow yourself to use your creativity without self-sabotage

  • Pick up a new hobby, activity, or learn something new

  • Read, read, and read

Question 3: What are the action steps I need to take?

For most of us the action steps may be the hardest part to keep up with. Life gets in the way.

Emotions have us feeling stuck.

Anxiety or depression may make us just get home from work and lay in bed. Whatever the reason is the only reason you are not where you are where you want to be in life is because of the actions you have not taken to get there.

The difference between who you are and what you want to be is the actions you are taking.

It's hard when your mindset is not there or neither is your motivation and drive. Unfortunately, many of us give up when we are so close to the finish line.

You need to set yourself up with the first two questions above since you will find your reasons why you want to accomplish a specific kind of life for yourself whether that is to provided your

Family stability, helping other people, raise awareness on a topic, whatever that reason is, your Why, you will grab on to this for dear life for this will be the reason that will keep you motivated to continue.

When your purpose and drive is stronger than the obstacles you will face you will bound to succeed in your life's calling and journey

You will be required to do research into your topic. Figure out what it takes to accomplish your goals and plans.

For example, if you are looking to start a business or grow the business you have now then look into areas in your business that can use some change.

If you are looking to find spiritual balance in your life then take time to go on a retreat or spend time alone in your home free from distractions.

Learn how to become more balance in your peace and find healing in your life throughout your journey, just remember it is never too late.
